Dr. Annie Edwards earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Old Dominion University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in prehospital and emergency medicine, aesthetics, weight loss, and integrative health.
Dr. Edwards is passionate about women's health and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for women throughout their lifespan. She is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Certified, a Certified Menopause Coach, and a member of The North American Menopause Society. Her expertise allows her to provide comprehensive care in hormone optimization and menopausal health.
A certified yoga instructor, Dr. Edwards integrates holistic wellness practices with evidence-based medicine. She has also contributed to research in alternative, herbal, and integrative medicine, including "Herbal and Supplement Use in Older Adults: Beliefs, Attitudes, and Motivations," which she presented to the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the International Council of Nurses in Ireland.
